Now that most of the snow has melted and the name of the mountain no longer applies, we decided to take a shot at climbing Snow King. Stopped about half way and switched to photography mode and it got late. So we'll try again tomorrow maybe....

Between the snow melting and a little plowing assist from the town of Jackson, the roads were clear enough to open the Southern Entrance to Yellowstone National Park today. So with almost no summer visitors around yet, we pretty much had the park to ourselves. Perfect weather, iconic views and breathtaking wildlife encounters marked an amazing day.
