palm forest
Shot this while walking the dog in Doheny State Beach pointing straight up in a really tall strand of palms. Even caught a little moon action.

Shot this on a short little trail that gently slopes from PCH down to the entrance of The Strand in Dana Point. Doggie=Happy. Honey=Happy. Me=Happy. Three checks.
Shot this from the bridge over Dana Point Harbor. I asked Daisy if she wanted to try this. Does fast tail wagging mean yes or no?
Shot this at the Strand in Dana Point. It was such a drab and grey sunset and I wasn't even going to take any pics, then all of the sudden the light burst out of the bottom of the clouds just above the water. This is a good example of why I like shooting with the iPhone camera. If I had been carrying around a "real" camera I wouldn't have bothered to take it out of the car and would have missed the moment completely.
Taken at Salt Creek Beach. After I posted this, my friend Karleen (who lives on a sailboat) gently suggested that the birds are pelicans not seagulls. Upon closer inspection, I believe she is correct. Evidently, my seabird identification skills need some work.
